Quiz2D Statistics

This is the top directory for statistics for Version 6 of the Enhanced Precision Political Quiz in 2D. Underneath this directory were directories corresponding to where people came from to take the quiz. (People who registered their site can had their data split out separately. This feature has been deprecated as too hard to maintain and it used up too much disk space.)

Explanations

How the Quiz is scored. This link takes you to a page showing the numerical weights used in the Quiz to place people on the grid. Admittedly, the scoring system is a bit subjective. Here, you can see how I did it, and you can adjust your interpretation of the data accordingly. (But note that these weights have nothing to do with the statistics on how people answered! They only affect how people are placed on the grid and categorized.)

Is the Quiz biased? Many have claimed that the Quiz is biased, that it puts everyone in the Libertarian quadrant. Well, the stats show that this extreme allegation is not true. It is true, however, that "Libertarian" tallies much higher here than it does at the polls. Several factors lead to this bias in the results. Click here for explanations of this discrpancy.
